Call For Designers

WHY SHOULD I JOIN THE PLATFORM?

This platform aims to bring “designers” and “universities/NGOs” together for developing social responsibility projects and to support their implementation processes by increasing the visibility of their design outcomes that help address inclusivity.

The platform will enable you to use your professional design skills to meet a variety of social needs in different scales, covering areas such as graphic/communication design, industrial design, interior/architecture, and urban design, and your contribution will be based on a voluntary basis. Design is a powerful concept because many problems we experience in our daily lives can be solved by design. As a result of poor designs, certain segments of the society may experience access and social integration problems. This platform aims to demonstrate the power of designers who are competent at different scales to meet the needs of the society and offer a better future for all. To provide design solutions and answer design briefs, firstly you need to register at the platform.

WHAT IS THE SCOPE OF PROJECTS THAT NEED YOUR CONTRIBUTION?

Projects on the platform should be within the framework of social responsibility and have the potential to benefit the society with an inclusive approach. Accordingly, each project goes through an approval process before it is showcased on the platform. In line with this, in addition to non-governmental organizations, local administrations, universities, various foundations and charities; representatives from the private sector and individuals from disadvantaged groups can also send project proposals with a social responsibility approach in mind. Information about each project (i.e. its content, clients/stakeholders, other information related to its process) is explained under the related project page. You may register your interest in any project by clicking on the "apply to project" button.

This platform does not take part and claim rights regarding the intellectual property of the resulting designs. Intellectual property issues are entirely dependent on the agreement between the “designer(s)” and the “university/NGOs”. If they both approve, the design solutions developed and the accompanying information regarding the process will be published in the project gallery of the platform. In this way, the platform aims to increase the visibility of the projects and to attract potential supporters for implementation.
